School Risk Assessments
September 2021 Opening

Each school is using the MAC template, based on a Local Authority template, to tailor the Risk Assessment to their school community.

Risk Assessments have been reviewed regularly.

The Board of Directors have confirmed that a rigorous process has been followed enabling schools to open.

All Trade Union local branches TUs have been sent copies of the Risk Assessments and invited to comment. They will be sent any future significant updates.

Each school is consulting with staff on the Risk Assessments.

Risk Assessments will continue to be reviewed on a weekly basis to ensure that latest advice and guidance is included.

School Risk Assessments can be accessed on school websites.

Individual Risk Assessments have been undertaken for individuals who are potentially more vulnerable to Covid-19.

Each school’s Covid-19 arrangements have been reviewed by the MAC’s Health and Safety consultant.

Letters have been sent to parents with September 2020 opening arrangements.
